Single Missing Tooth
In this case a boy fractured and lost a central incisor during an accident. After bone grafting, an implant and crown was placed during adulthood. Aesthetics, speech and chewing function were restored.
All-On-4
This patient's remaining upper and lower teeth had poor to hopeless prognoses. The remaining teeth were removed and four implants were placed in each jaw immediately to support fixed full-arch bridges within 24 hours.
The All-On-4 treatment is a treatment modailty which utilises 4 implants to support a fixed full-arch bridge. When used appropriately, the technique reduces the need for bone grafting in areas where bone is limited for implant placement.
Reconstruction of Worn & Eroded Dentitions
Implant Overdentures
This patient was dissatisfied with the retention and stability of his lower full denture. His remaining two lower teeth were infected and did not provide sufficient retention and stability for his lower full denture for speaking and chewing. He received two implants and a removable lower denture which attached to the implants. Chewing function and speech were restored.
Conventional Dentures
This patient was 104 years old and had not worn his old dentures for several years because they fit poorly. He was dissatisfied with his appearance, speech and ability to chew.
Implant surgery was contraindicated. New full dentures were constructed for use in conjunction with denture adhesives. Aesthetics, speech and partial chewing function were restored.
Guided Surgery / Flapless Surgery / Keyhole Implant Surgery
Our practice is equipped to perform guided surgery and flapless surgery ("keyhole dental implant surgery"). The technology by Nobel Biocare (NobelClinician and NobelGuide) and Simplant allows precise surgical planning and fabrication of a computer generated lithographic surgical stent. When used appropriately this technique is safe, precise, can reduce treatment time, can reduce healing time and can improve patient comfort.
